Hi, I’m Tash.

From the days of crayons and coloured pencils to working with oil paints and charcoal, my world has always been about creative expression. I completed my Brand Communications Degree through Vega in Johannesburg. I worked in the Advertising industry at a boutique agency in Johannesburg, South Africa for a number of years before taking the leap to become an Independent Creative aka, my own Boss.

My passion for perfection, detail and accuracy are key drivers to my work ethic and skill-set, all of which ensure the work that I do for you is carefully considered and executed. I live for a good branding job in Illustrator and thrive working on communication designs in InDesign. I have an eye for photographic editing and comping in Photoshop and recently ventured into After Effects to learn about design in motion. Better yet, I’m proficient in time management and communication.

Behind the name, Dear Creative

When I decided to leave the security of full time employment to become an Independent Creative I knew the one thing that excited me about this change was the fact that I’d be able to communicate directly with my clients. There’d be no room for miscommunication or time restraints. It was this notion that inspired the name, Dear Creative. The simple act of being able to communicate directly with myself as your creative fosters stronger client relationships and ensures that every project be a true reflection of your vision and objectives.
